UK Charities which operate television stations broadcasting from the Sky platform in languages other than English, should take special care during this election period not to call on their viewers to support any particular candidates for election. TV stations must have a TLCS Licence (Television Licensable Content Service) issued by Ofcom. Licensees are also subject to the Ofcom Broadcasting Code. Charities, especially, must be on their best behaviour. My spies are watching and listening.
