When Parliament is dissolved, MPs become private citizens again.The shutters comed down immediately. Facilities are withdrawn. Office doors are locked. Access to the Parliamentary intranet is blocked. 

In my case, e-mails to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it simply disappeared into the ether from 5pm on Monday 12th April until Thursday 15 April. I am told by the techical wizards at Westminster they cannot be retreived. Gone forever.
