The 2010 General Election is approaching rapidly.  Unlike my only real competitor I don't have access to the bottomless money mines of Belize.  My campaign to be re-elected relies completely on the generosity of those of you who donate. Here are just a few ways a small donation can make the world of difference to my campaign:

£5 - pays for leaflets for two streets

£10 - pays for window Posters for 150 houses

£25 - pays for 250 campaign balloons

£50 - pays for leaflets for twenty streets

£100 - pays for 2000 text messages

£250 - pays for phone calls to five streets of voters

£500 - pays for direct mail to 2000 voters

£1200 - pays for a ward's campaigning in vital elections and entitles you to join the Thousand Club

When you enter an amount and press the Donate button you will be taken to a secure Labour Party website where you can enter your credit card details.  You can also sign up for regular payments (annual/monthly by direct debit).  Please read the Terms and Conditions at the bottom of that page so you know what you'll be signing up for - a luxury that those voting Tory don't get from Ashcroft!
